How Wandered publishes evidence-led AI analytics guidance.

Last updated August 17, 2026

The short version

Useful guidance should make it easy to see what was observed, what was inferred, which sources support the claim, and when those sources were checked.

01

A claim begins with an evidence class

Wandered separates four observations before drawing a conclusion: a brand mention in a sampled answer, a citation or linked source, an observed human referral, and a conversion or business outcome. Machine requests are measured separately. A crawler request is not reported as a person, and visibility is not presented as proof of traffic or revenue.

02

Primary documentation comes first

Provider documentation, analytics help centers, technical standards, and first-party product announcements are preferred for behavior, classification, and policy claims. Secondary commentary may help identify a question, but it does not replace the primary source when one is available. Every substantive guide exposes the references used so readers can inspect them directly.

03

Publication and verification dates mean different things

The publication date records when a field note first became public. The updated date changes when the page receives a material editorial revision. The verification date records when its change-sensitive sources were last checked. A page is not marked updated merely because a build ran or a template changed.

04

Examples explain methods, not market benchmarks

Illustrative numbers are labeled as examples and are used to show a formula, report layout, or decision rule. Wandered does not publish industry benchmarks until the underlying sample, exclusions, and aggregation method can be disclosed responsibly. Product claims remain pre-launch accurate and do not imply capabilities that readers cannot yet evaluate publicly.

05

Provider pages must earn their own URL

A provider guide must include provider-specific referral behavior, analytics classification, evidence limitations, landing-page implications, conversion guidance, and primary references. Pages are not created merely by replacing one brand name with another. When two queries require the same answer, one page should satisfy both rather than manufacturing another thin variation.

06

Corrections remain visible

Material directory and methodology changes are recorded in a visible change log. Small typographic corrections may not receive an entry. Readers and providers can send documented corrections to hello@wandered.io. A correction is evaluated against current primary evidence and applied without requiring a reciprocal link, endorsement, or commercial relationship.
